Thank you to all who participated!!

So that giveaway was WAY too much fun!! I am so excited for the next one. I just have to make the item. I already know what it is going to be. But it is a VERY time consuming project so I want it done before I post it. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as well.

I hope to soon have a small business going of selling the dolls. Here is just a short overview of the plans for them. Shoppers will make all the decisions!! The doll will come with black shoes, your choice of hair color, your choice of eye color, your choice of facial expression, your choice of material print (whatever it is I have available), and possibly a choice of outfit style (I have to practice making the other outfits). AND I will have an option of buying other outfits separate from the dolls. So the clothes can be interchangeable. There will be other things available other than just the dolls but the dolls will be the main feature. And I think the price that I have settled on will be $12.50. I am going to take a chance here and ask for some feed back on if you think the price is reasonable (no obligation). The price includes materials, labor, and shipping. So let me know what you think.

GIVEAWAY!!!!!

As promised!!
Giveaway has officially started!!

I don't know why these pictures look so different. The dolls are made from the same color material.

We have featured a hand crafted cloth doll. Fashioning a pink polka-dot dress with snaps.

Remember this is a 2 day 2 gift giveaway.
Rules:
One entry per day
Just leave a comment on THIS posting. Comments on other postings will not count.
Winners of these precious dolls MUST be willing to love the doll themselves or give the doll to a girl who will :-)
The first day winner will have first pick of the desired doll and dress.
Names will be drawn from a hat by one of my family members (not me).

I will add freckles upon request.

There will also be a choice of if you would like the pink dress and shoes or a purple polka-dot dress and shoes.

I will soon have more made and for sale. More on that will come later. It is still in the making.

Good luck to all.

Giveaway instructions

For those that have never entered a giveaway on a blog before. On Monday I will post the items I am giving and you just leave a comment on that post to have a chance to win. And like I said before it is one entry per day so in total it can be two entries.

Giveaway!!

This is an inspiration from Emily. She has made it look like so much fun to have a giveaway that I will be having one as well. This is a heads up to everyone that would like a chance to win.

It is something that is being made by me.

The giveaway will start Monday January 18 at 10am and a winner will be announced Tuesday January 19 at 7pm. So spread the word. And only one entry per household per day. That is a total of 2 entries if you so desire.

One more thing... there will be 2 items for giveaway. So if you enter twice you could have a chance to win both items. Winner will be chosen at random by Hugh, and first winner will get first pick. Numbers will be pulled from a hat. One from the first day and one from the second day. So come back on Monday for your chance to win!!

And a couple sneak peak pictures.

Good luck to all!

Few pictures

Well Sage and Ashley are buds!
They are always playing. I have to separate them so they will rest.

Sage and Ashley both got a chew thing.
I guess Sage finished first and wanted Ashley's.

ASHLEY DON"T LOOK AWAY!!

Too late....

Simon was being a goof ball when I pulled out the camera.

He is such a silly guy!

He does not crawl yet but he is not immobile either. He rolls and army crawls where ever he wants to go. And he can get just about anywhere. He loves to roll to the kitchen and play in the dogs water bowl. But it is just a matter of time before he starts crawling!

Grateful Sunday

I have SO much to be grateful for. Even with some of the events that happened in my life in 2009 it was still a good year. I learned so much. And not just things you can read from a book. I grew so much spiritually. I learned how to rely on the Lord and have faith. He does have a plan and does know what he is doing. But this week and I can add the last 2 weeks in this, I have had the opportunity to have many things to be grateful for.

*My Family

*A husband that loves me.

*A husband that I love.

*A car that we can rely on so we can see family that lives far away.

*Children that travel VERY well so those trips to see family are easier, even when sitting in the same spot for 9 hours because of the interstate being shut down.

*Hugh having job security.

*A roof over our heads.

*Food on our table.

*My new calling as RS Secretary.

*A ward that feels like another family.

*Friends

The list could go on and on. I am so grateful to our Lord and the sacrifices he made so we could all return to our Heavenly Father. I love knowing that my family is forever. Yesterday was the one year mark of Shawn's passing and I am comforted knowing I will see him again. I know he is serving a mission in heaven, teaching my ancestors that did not have the opportunity to hear the gospel on this earth. And I will rejoice the day I get to see him again. But for now I am needed here, with my family. He is missed...

But here starts a new year. A new beginning. Spring is just around the corner and all will be beautiful again. Flowers, leaves, grass, warm air, walks in the morning with my boys, playground's, picnics, birds chirping, and new life everywhere.

2010 will be a good year!
