Inspired

So I just read Jennifer's blog on being grateful for things that not many would see being grateful for. It made me, in an instant, realize how ungrateful I have been lately. And I don't mean to use excuses, but when you run on maybe 3-4 hours of sleep everyday it makes it kind of hard to be grateful. So I am very grateful for my wonderful baby Simon who reminds me every night (multiple times) that I am needed. I am grateful for my wonderful son Leo that is full of happiness and joy even when you wake him from a nap. I am grateful for my beloved beautiful Katie that is such a big help and in her own way reminds me not to be lazy. And most of all I am grateful for my wonderful loving husband Hugh that doesn't complain about me huffing out of the room as loud as I can every time Simon cries at night, and tells the kids every day to listen to Mommy and be nice to her, and kisses us all before he leaves for work in the morning and at lunch.
I do feel very blessed that we have job security right now, a roof over our heads, food on the table, and a family to love and care for. Needless to say I have a very short fuse right now and look forward to when Simon only wakes up 3 times a night and will go right back to sleep after those feedings.
Aside from my misery, Simon is doing very good and growing very well. Katie is a big help and just had her 5th birthday. Leo is as adventurous as ever and loves being a big brother. As for Hugh, he has finally started his job.

Leo and Simon

So before I get into it, Last post was my 100th. YEA!!!!

So this is Leos first time seeing Simon. He was happy to be holding his little brother and he is still so cute when he holds him. Although he still occasionally asks me if Elliott is in my tummy.

Big Sister

Katie was reading to Leo. It was really cute to watch. Leo payed attention really well. She is such a good big sister. I can't wait till she can really read.

Kids say the darndest things

My Mom was burping Simon and he spit-up a little and Leo turned to ME and said "Why he spill your milk?"
