Katie is fine

She has only been sad that one time. We have had no problem since then. It has been so nice to have only one dog again. I like that she can have the roam of the house again and interact with her. Even if she does like to get really close to us. I can deal with that better then the pee and poop all over.

Some of you got a special surprise in the mail and I just want to explain a bit. Ok click HERE.

I hope your children enjoy (unless you keep it for yourself).

Saying goodbye...

Katie was really sad today and I think we may have a few more times of her being sad in the next few days. Why? you ask. Well we said goodbye to "her" puppy. I could no longer care for Ashley. It was just too much for me to house train her when she would not whine when she needed to go out. I have come to HATE cleaning dog pee and poo off my floors. Not just that but dogs are not supposed to pee or poo where they sleep but Ashley had no problem with that. I just could not take it any longer. Cleaning a kennel with a muddy lake in it is just not what I looked forward to at 1am. Just not my thing ya know! So now we are down to just Sage again and she is already house trained and all that. Life is getting better for me. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I am sure Sage might be a little sad inside too that we took away her playmate. But I think she is glad to have the run of the house again and will be glad to sleep in our room again (not tonight, I need at least one night without dog). I guess that's all for now.

Happy blogging!

Buggers, bottles, and naps

Simon has been sick the last few days. I think he is over the worst of it. He didn't wake up with a crusty nose this morning. But I think someone turned the faucet and forgot to turn it off. I feel so horrible ever time I have to wipe his nose. He hates it.

I was going to (like usual) ditch the bottle at a year old, but under the special circumstances, that has not yet happened. Simon will take a sippy cut and drink fine from it if it is formula. But he is still struggling with the taste of cows milk. And that is fine for me, but I get worried about him staying hydrated with how little he drinks if I just use the sippy cup. NOT that I let him have a bottle anytime he wants but we still use it for just before bed. So no biggy.

Today I forgot that Simon obviously still takes napes. So there I am just back from the store, unload groceries, get a fussy baby out of the car seat, start feeding the fussy baby and I start gabbing on the phone. I just HAD to call my very best friend! So we gab away and I feed Simon cheerios, mixed fruit bits, peas and carrots, and I proceed to make Leos lunch. Leo then eats and Simon is fussy in his chair so I clean him up, still gabbing, let him play in the living room and I snack a bit more on my lunch. After I get off the phone I realize its 1:40, Katie gets out of school in an hour and Simon should have been in bed an hour and 40 min ago!!! SO I rush him up stairs to bed. It is so not going to be a long enough nap... sigh...

I love my little Simon.

Thank you to all who participated!!

So that giveaway was WAY too much fun!! I am so excited for the next one. I just have to make the item. I already know what it is going to be. But it is a VERY time consuming project so I want it done before I post it. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as well.

I hope to soon have a small business going of selling the dolls. Here is just a short overview of the plans for them. Shoppers will make all the decisions!! The doll will come with black shoes, your choice of hair color, your choice of eye color, your choice of facial expression, your choice of material print (whatever it is I have available), and possibly a choice of outfit style (I have to practice making the other outfits). AND I will have an option of buying other outfits separate from the dolls. So the clothes can be interchangeable. There will be other things available other than just the dolls but the dolls will be the main feature. And I think the price that I have settled on will be $12.50. I am going to take a chance here and ask for some feed back on if you think the price is reasonable (no obligation). The price includes materials, labor, and shipping. So let me know what you think.
