Intresting June

So on top of all the excitement that already happens in June there was so much more that happened this month. Events that happen every year are, my cousin Wendy's birthday, our anniversary, my sister-in-law Stacie's birthday, my brother Scott's anniversary, my cousin Johns birthday, my sister Samantha's anniversary, same sisters birthday the next day, my birthday (me) , my brother-in-law Greg's birthday, and my brother Stevens birthday. So on top of all that, my friend Darlene from Ft. Wayne e-mailed me all of the sudden from not being in contact with her for well over a year. It was so surprising. We now have regular chats. I love it and am glad she is back in my life and doing well. Then just 2 days ago a long lost friend of mine from Tucson calls me up to wish me a happy belated birthday. It has been over a year since talking to her as well. Wow that was so cool. And now just yesterday a message was left on my blog from Gabi, another friend from Ft. Wayne (but moved almost 5 years ago). And it has been almost 5 years since talking to them. I am really excited about this one because, she doesn't know it, she is currently a 45 min. drive from where I am. And I have just found out that one of my friends just got engaged. I can't mention her name right now because it is her news to tell but congratulations to her. So it has been quite the month for me. It is great to be in contact with long lost friends again. I guess they are not so lost now. But it is so cool that it all happened in such a short time.

We need a puppy

This is my neighbors puppy. Its about 8 or 9 weeks old. Leo has not been a big fan of animals except for our dog Lilly. We watched this puppy for a few (5) hours today. About the last half hour Leo really took to it. And he said "I strong." So I wish we could keep it but I don't really have much patients for puppies right now. But it was still cute.

Yippie!!

Well my stuff came a day early. I was at Wal-mart when I got a call that it was here so I rushed home as fast as the law would allow. Sad to say though that my microwave somehow didn't make it. But of all the things coming that was the only thing missing. So I get to go buy a new microwave and get a full reimbursement for my old one. And this has nothing to do with how much stuff I had but it took 4 hours to get it from the truck to the inside of my house. Sad really. They sent 2 OLD guys to unload it. I could have gone faster than that by myself. But this is what they are paid to do. So, it should have only taken like an hour -1/2 tops had they sent 3-4 young spry energetic guys. SO I sat in the hot 99 degree sun for 4 hours marking of 136 numbers. Now consider my piano had 6 of those numbers on it and other things had multiple numbers as well. So that is my excitement. Can't wait to unload it all. As soon as Leo is asleep i can get started. So if you don't hear from me for a while you know why.

The day is soon here!

So today is Wednesday and I am excited for my household goods to arrive on Friday. I am not sure what time it will get here but that doesn't really matter as long as it gets here. I was a little disappointed yesterday. I went and picked up my dining room table and chairs and took it home. I opened the table box first and realized the table was WAY to small for a family of 4 and not to mention we plan on having more kids. I was so worried about how long it was going to be I never thought of how wide it was. And it was not wide at all. So I was very sad to return it. Thats what I get for buying something online but I am glad I started with the table and not the chairs. I would have had to take it all apart. So on the brighter side I will soon have my stuff. Then as soon as I have my house all set up I will take pictures and post them.
The kids are doing well. We have met a lot of new people and the kids have a few friends. Leo is a crazy little boy thats like to climb. But he is lovable. Yesterday when he was in bed for the night he started calling my name saying "Moooooommy..... I looooove ewe." It was very cute. Like he though that would get him out of bed. Katie is growing so fast. She is in Sunbeams and loves it. She is really good about staying in bed at night and takes good care of her little brother. I am glad they get along for the most part. Leo likes to be a copy cat and do everything Katie does. It is great when Katie gets annoyed with it and i let it go on so she can get a taste of how I feel when she wants to do everything I do. Well I suppose thats all for now. Sorry this is a boring post.

So I have a game for Katie to play when Leo is napping. She takes care of little cats and dogs. Well you can breed them too. Its kinda fun. Pets without the mess. And hours of entertainment for Katie. So this is one of the little puppies her poodle had and I names it Poo Feet. I had forgotten until Katie was begging to name them. Then I saw it and remembered and laughed hysterically.

Becca reminded me of this story I read yesterday

This is the funniest thing I've read in a long time... touché to the guys! What a hysterical writer! I just hope he continues to live a long life, with all fingers intact, so he can keep enjoying his writing career...

NO SEX TONIGHT!

I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE:

One evening last week, my wife and I were getting into bed.

Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every man on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her.

We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit.

We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings.

Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey."

She was in complete bliss.

Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?"

I then said "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.
